About Plastic Culture

In 2018 Plastic Culture, founding member/lead vocalist Kaitlin A. AKA “Sauceyhead” and lead guitarist Eddie Garcia began writing songs as a dynamic duo. Based out of Southern California, Kaitlin and Eddie have made it their mission to bring back heart and soul into rock n’ roll.  Their unique blend of multiple genres includes rock, psychedelic, reggae, metal, and funk.

In 2019, Plastic Culture recorded their original four singles; engineered/mastered by multi-platinum record producer Frank Gryner, best known for his work on Rob Zombie’s ‘Hellbilly Deluxe.’ On March 6th, 2020 Plastic Culture recorded a live studio session with Jung Records in North Hollywood

On April 14th, 2020 Plastic Culture participated in an online Canadian music relief contest to see which band could raise the most money for Autism Canada. Plastic Culture won first place.  Plastic Culture now has an international distribution deal with Sony Music/The Orchard Through AMG. In the midst of the shut down of live venues due to the global pandemic, Plastic Culture has accomplished considerable forward momentum.

Lisa Worden, Vice President of Rock and Alternative at iHeartMedia and Program Director of ALT 98.7FM Los Angeles, chose Plastic Culture for the 4th episode of the new “She is The Voice” radio program, February 26th, 2021. Friday night show airs at 8pm with an established woman artist as the co-host. The unsigned female artist featured was Kaitlin A. and the debut of Plastic Culture’s first single “Power of Love”.

Lisa Worden thought highly enough of the song to feature it again on the April 2nd episode making Plastic Culture the first unsigned artist to receive a second spin. Washington DC’s DC101FM, and San Francisco’s 97.7 The River “Classic Rock” followed soon after.

Plastic Culture was the first place winner of The Valley Cultural Foundation’s Rock The Valley Battle of The Bands on March 3rd. As a result the band performed at the All Together Now LA2 Telethon March 20th, 2021. This event helped raise money for Covid relief with a line-up of amazing iconic musicians, actors, and a few great emerging artists.

June 25th, 2021 Plastic Culture gets featured live on Spectrum News 1 Los Angeles with Emmy Award winning anchor and host Kelvin Washington.

One year later on May 13th 2023 Plastic Culture was selected to directly support headliner The Violent Femmes for Santa Fe Springs Market Place and Concert Venue’s first ever sold out rock live event hosted and presented by the world famous 106.7 KROQ Los Angeles.

Plastic Culture’s new single “Little Stories” official debuted on the World Famous 106.7 KROQ Los Angeles on May 14th, 2023.

With such forward momentum accumulating Plastic Culture are poised to sit on top as one of the new breakthrough acts of this decade and beyond.
